Education Mutual was set up in 2018 by a group of headteachers and school business leaders who were frustrated with the traditional staff absence insurance market. They wanted to create something fairer, more transparent, and genuinely supportive of schools. The board is made up of active school leaders who know schools’ yearly frustrations first hand. They ensure that every member has a voice to provide a community-driven alternative to staff absence insurance.
